Back in Rhode Island 3: Mostly Unremarkable

Today was a mostly unremarkable day. It was not a bad day, or an unproductive day. It’s just that nothing much stands out. The morning is a 5:30 alarm, coffee, gym Peloton, shower, then breakfast with Brian & Helen.

Then we go to Fundati coffee and I get a pour over and a chocolate chip banana muffin. This is actually good but it’s hard to define your day by a gluten-free pastry.

We do the workshops today. Morning is 2 sessions and afternoon is 1. We are lucky as today is employee appreciation day and we get to enjoy a free lunch with pastries. They are decent but not amazing. Lunch is good enough.

After work we hang out in the hotel lobby. I work while the other 2 talk. My aim is to get the workshop collateral done ASAP.

We meet a retired schoolteacher named Debbie who is very friendly. We have a 5 minute conversation then head out for dinner at The Trap again.

The food is good again. We hand out and talk for quite a while.

Back at the hotel around 9:30, I stretch then just go to bed. Trying to get 7 hours of sleep is hard when you wake up at 5:30.
