Thanksgiving Florida 2 – Actually Thanksgiving

It’s a cooler day today. While the sun is out the temps are a little lower. I enjoy my coffee on the patio again, and Julia joins me for a little bit of it. Day looks good though.

We head over to Icon Park later in the morning. It’s pretty quiet and many of the shops are not open. We grab a cup of coffee then sit & talk for a bit. The boys go over to play cornhole. We mill about some, then 5 of them get on this absurdly tall, chain-supported spin thing. See images below but 4 of us pass on this one.

We then head back to the condo while Kirt & family go to the train station to pick up their niece.

We eat some lunch then walk over to the pool again. On the way we see an alligator on the side of the pond. Hard to tell from this pic but it was gone when I walked back.

We hang out at the pool. While it looks like a nice day out, it was barely 70 degrees and when you got wet, you got a bit cold. The hot tub is a popular place today, so finding space is tough.

Dinner is at the Capital Grille. The meal is fabulous. It’s a really nice Thanksgiving dinner/evening with the crew. Food & company are both great.
